Concept
Thanks to digital proliferation, paper’s numerous variants and breeds are dying out, leaving only the dull A4 copier paper, most commonly found in offices. In such dire straits, we’ve called on twelve individuals from all artistic disciplines – Graphic, Product, Fashion, Advertising and Art – to revive the dwindling dichotomy.

The select twelve were tasked to create an object using only paper – to create things of beauty, things of usefulness or anything else they can imagine, as long as it elevates the status of paper – from a surface for printing, to a versatile medium of brilliant creativity.

Each of the twelve has found a place in the Antalis 2010 calendar, to serve as inspiration to and a reminder of the infinite possibilities that paper presents.

About (the poster cause project)
The Poster Cause Project is an online effort to sell and promote artwork by artists in a very limited form all while donating 50 – 100% of all profits to chartitiies and organizations in need.Each month we release very limited prints by a different artists with profits going to a specific charity or organization chosen by us or the artist.

In the beginning, the idea was simple. Support art. Support those in need.

About (the haiti earthquake relief)
With the recent devastation of the 7.1 magnitude earthquake hitting Haiti’s capital of Port-au-Prince, reports have surfaced that ‘most of Port-au-Prince is destroyed”. To support in the relief efforts, all 100% of profits from this print will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971.

Measuring 841 x 594mm – each poster is rolled with a layer of silver waterproof sheet for protection and packed into 3′ wide carton tubes made of high quality Kraft paper.

Concept
The festival website is designed in a single-page horizontal scrolling format – using just simple html and javacript. The result is a website that is lightweight, allowing it to load quickly without any unecessary images, script and flash.

Our approach to the brief was to strip everything down to it’s simplest form – with as little design as possible. Instead focusing on the task at hand, to promote the films.

The typography is set in large, glorious Helvetica – with all extra content neatly hidden away, until revealed by simply clicking the “read more..” links.
